OUR MISSION (FoMR) is to enhance & strengthen the quality of residential community life along the Lower Russian River by developing and supporting a series of low and no cost social, cultural and educational programs and activities.
We have started to prepare for the 2nd annual Give Back Tuesday on September 16th, 2025, and we need your help!
Just like last year, we are hoping to collect a lot of treasures that we can raffle away. For those of you who have never been to a Give Back Tuesday, it is a weekly event at the Rainbow Cattle Company where small non-profits raise money for their organizations. Each Tuesday at 6 pm, the non-profit serves a meal for $5 and sells raffle tickets for the many items spread out on the tables. These treasures are odds and ends donated by their community, new or slightly used, as well as other service donations. Sometimes there will be a live auction. It is all done in a fun atmosphere, and it usually wraps up around 8 pm.
We are asking our friends in Monte Rio and surrounding areas to check their attics and their basements for items that they no longer need. Presents you didn’t have space for or weren’t in your taste, decor you no longer want or need, things that you didn’t want to give to Salvation Army because "someone may need it one day.” Please put those things aside, and we can either pick it up or you can bring it to our storage in Monte Rio.

This is a wonderful fundraiser that we hope you will participate in, even if you are not donating. The Rainbow Cattle Company recently passed the $1 million mark of donations to our local communities.
